Financial Close was achieved in March 2004 with completion and Service Availability achieved in February 2006. The project provides, via an extension to Salisbury District Hospital, additional new and replacement facilities including a Burns and Plastic Surgery Unit, Dental Care and In Patient accommodation totalling 200 beds. Also incorporated is a Care of the Elderly Unit, Minor and Laser Surgery Unit, Speech Therapy, Clinical Radiology and supporting offices. A state of the art laundry facility was also delivered to service Salisbury District Hospital and the needs of other NHS facilities within Wiltshire
