Financial Close was reached in 22nd August 2006 on two new Ambulatory Care and Diagnostic Centres (ACADs) comprising 69,600 m2 at a cost of £178,000,000.00 for a Consortium comprising the Canmore Partnership, Quayle Munro, UME and Dexia. ACG provide Project Management services to the Consortium and are also responsible for administration of the Design and Construct Contract between Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd and the Consortium.
Both ACADs started on site in November 2006 and completion occurred in March 2009. The Stobhill Hospital has received the Best Healthcare Award at the Glasgow Institute of Architects Awards, the Best Hospital Award at the Building Better Healthcare Awards and received the Grand Prix at the Roses Awards for the Best Building outside of London.
